Artscape lineup announced

IMG_0788Artscape’s organizers announced the line up for the festival’s Wells Fargo Main Stage at a press conference this morning.

On Friday, July 19th, the festival kicks off with an all-R&B lineup, featuring Brittanie Thomas at 4:30, Bridget Kelly at 6, and Kem at 7:30.

On Saturday, the 20th, contest winners iLyAIMY kick things off at 1:30, followed by Ethiopian reggae band Krar Collective at 3, Brooklyn-based indie-rock band Jukebox the Ghost at 4:30, then New Orleans’ stellar Dirty Dozen Brass Band at 6, and the North Mississippi Allstars (pictured) at 7:30.

On Sunday, Hyattsville, Maryland Afrobeat band Tosin kick things off at 12:30, followed by Austrian blues band Meena Cryle & The Chris Fillmore Band at 2, then Baltimore-based psych-rockers Flying Eyes at 3:30, Hawaiian folk-rock singer Anuhea at 5, and festival-cappers The Wailers at 6:30.
