Republican Gubernatorial hopeful releases protest song, “No Taxation With Precipitation”

Screen shot 2014-06-12 at 3.56.26 PMDelegate Ron George, currently polling in fourth place among four Republicans vying in next week gubernatorial primary election, gets major props for coming up with a music video, “No Taxation With Precipitation,” vamped from the classic Tommy James and The Shondells’ tune, “My Baby Does the Hanky Panky.” As you might have guessed, it takes on the so-called “Rain Tax” and other nefarious Democrat doings.

Speaking personally, I always figured the anti-rain tax song would be based on the classic Creedence tune.

But this is pretty good.

Thanks to the Gazette for pointing us to this.

As a home recorder my hat is off to him. I’ve never gotten such a good clean sound on any my recordings. I am a Democrat and even I am drawing the line with the “rain tax”. It is true, Marylanders are over taxed. But I would never vote for a GOPer. I’d rather pay high taxes then live in their pre-Darwinian world.
