The EMPORIYUM, Featuring Bryan Voltaggio, comes to Fells Point

yumCome April, part of Fells Point will be transformed into The EMPORIYUM, a “two-day celebration of fine food and brews crafted by artisans from New York and across the Mid-Atlantic”. The event will be less of a farmers market and more of a prepared Food Market with the focus being on handmade comestibles and prepared foods from area chefs and restaurants. Did we mention beer? Yah, Heavy Seas and Flying Dog will be there to supply your artisanal hangover.

While there will be numerous vendors, Bryan Voltaggio of Volt, Erik Bruner-Yang of Toki Underground, Jeni Britton Bauer of Jeni’s Ice Cream (who allegedly wrote the “bible” on making your own), and Woodberry Kitchen might perk up some ears among local food lovers. The event runs April 26th and 27th from 11AM-6PM with a $15 General Admission which includes food samples and 2 beer tokens. There’s also a $30 VIP option for Saturday which gets you a gift bag and early entry. Tickets are on sale now.

So far, the vendor lineup includes Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Volt, Maketto, Woodberry Kitchen, Quin, Rappahannock Oyster Co., Pabu, Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken, Bittermilk, Righteous Cheese, Lukes Lobster, Vigilante Coffee Co., Kinderhook Waxing Kara, Mouth Party, HEX Ferments, Taharka Bros., Charm City Cook, Goordy’s Pickle Jar, Pho Wheels, Flying Dog, and Heavy Seas.
