Gold Bar, the local night club and music venue across the hall from the Crown in the Hyundai Plaza building in Station North, today announced it will close at the end of the month, according to a post on the venue’s Facebook page.

The full text can be read here:

As some people may already know, we were informed over the weekend that the Gold Bar will be closing. In the short time we’ve been open, we’ve enjoyed great success as a venue and bar… it’s unfortunate that the owners don’t share our vision for the space and that they don’t seem to realize what talented and reputable employees they have. The Gold Bar staff has chosen not to stay on once the the bar is officially closed. We’re all going to keep doing what we do well, just in different places. We’ll keep people posted with details as we figure things out. We will definitely operate as usual through the end of this month, so please keep coming out to support the bands and bartenders!

We’ll update this post with details as we get them.
