Frederick Film Festival runs March 26 and 27

Matthew Porterfield's "Putty Hill"

The 3rd Annual Frederick Film Festival hits the Weinberg Center this weekend. Like last year, there are the expected two days of special guests and music performances in addition to the featured films. Joe Cashiola’s A Thing as Big as the Ocean and the unsettling Nazi footage in A Film Unfinished sandwich Matt Porterfield’s Putty Hill and the pretheatrical release of Kelly Reichardt’s (Old Joy, Wendy and Lucy) Meek’s Cutoff on the scheduled lineup. Check out the complete list of feature films, shorts, and other events at the festival’s web site.
