The Creative Alliance will be offering a preview screening of the documentary Directing Dissent on Oct. 4. The documentary follows John Roemer, a Baltimore teacher, activist, and “gun-toting pacifist,” who helped frame the debate over Civil Rights in the city.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion including Roemer and Sophie Hamacher, the filmmaker.
