Bobby Flay’s Bobby’s Burger Palace Opens in Maryland Live! Casino

Bobby Flay

Risking your cash on games of chance is one thing, but risking those same dollars (and your stomach) on a chancy lunch at a casino is another. Lucky for local gamblers that chef/restaurateur/cookbook author/television personality Bobby Flay’s Bobby’s Burger Palace (BBP) (7002 Arundel Mills Circle, [443] 661-4147, bobbysburgerpalace.com) will open concurrently with the new Maryland Live! Casino at Arundel Mills on Thursday, June 7, 2012.

The tenth and largest of Flay’s restaurants (and the third in the Baltimore/DC corridor), BBP features 10 signature burgers made with a choice of Angus beef, ground turkey or chicken breast, from the Santa Fe Burger topped with queso sauce, pickled jalapeños, and blue corn chips to the Palace Classic Burger with American cheese, lettuce, tomato and red onion. (Burgers are considered “crunchified” when you add chips to them.) Bottled beer, wines, and spiked milkshakes in flavors like Mocha Kahlua Vodka and Vanilla Caramel Bourbon are also available, as are non-alcoholic shakes. Outdoor seating, an entrance separate from the casino and takeout service make this burger joint slightly more family-friendly than most casino-related eateries appear to be. Open seven days for lunch, dinner and late night dining.

I have been to Bobby’s Burgers 2 times & been completely disatisfied w/the managerial staff thate this establashment has chosen. On both occasions my burger was undercooked & two seperate managers chose to try and educate me on how my burger should be cooked rather than admitting fault and dealing w/the problem at hand. For this reason, I will never eat at this or any food service establishment connected to Bobby Flay but will direct my compaints to the health department for other possible results. I was really excited to try a new restaurant w/what sounded like good food @ a reasonable price but ended up leaving dissapointed.
