Towson University’s Departments of Art and Design, Art History, and Art Education are seeking submissions for a fellowship in honor of late former Towson professor Ron Cubbison. Cubbison, who passed away in 2008, served as an assistant professor in Towson’s Department of Art from 1966–1996.

To reflect his passion for travel, and the inspiration it provided for his work, Towson is offering five one-time study abroad fellowships to graduate and undergraduate students who studied under Cubbison. Winners will be chosen from a juried exhibition at the Center for the Arts, to take place Sept. 13, 2012 through Oct. 7, 2012. The submission deadline is is Dec. 31; details on how to submit can be found here.
