RICO Indictment Unsealed in Maryland against Black Guerrilla Family Prison Gang
The U.S. Attorneys Office in Maryland sent out an e-mail this morning about a press conference scheduled to start at 1 p.m. today “to announce an indictment on federal racketeering charges.” Later, it sent out a copy of the indictment, revealing that the press conference will unveil the expected RICO indictment of members of the Black Guerrilla Family prison gang in Maryland. The 30-page indictment (see below), which was unsealed earlier today, names 14 defendants charged in three prior BGF indictments and a newly charged correctional officer named Alicia Simmons.
